Users across a wide range of industries have users who fancy icons on the desktop. Until now, your options were Web interface and Receiver for Enterprise 3.4. Receiver 4.2 brought icons on the desktop, but had the unfortunate limitation of placing all subscribed applications on the desktop, regardless of the setting. In addition to selectively placing icons in the start menu or on the desktop with Storefront, Receiver 4.2.100 introduces support for TLS 1.1 and 1.2, enhances the Receiver Desktop lock to support non-domain joined machines and makes the silent removal of applications from a user a default (a setting from 4.2 which could be enabled via the registry). Numerous bugs were also fixed.
